Hésiter à partir à Londres sur un coup de tête, entre amies, pour aller voir un groupe que l’on connaît depuis très longtemps et qui fait peu de concerts. Apprendre qu’il s’agit du dernier concert de la bassiste au sein du groupe. Ne plus hésiter, foncer.

Curieuse impression que de se sentir chez soi dans ce petit club de Londres où on n’avait jamais mis les pieds auparavant. Curieuse impression que de retrouver les membres du groupe comme de vieux amis qu’on a quitté la veille. Et comme une évidence que d’être là.

Cela faisait longtemps que je n’avais vu Farrah sur scène, et à peu près aussi longtemps qu’eux n’avaient joué. Un concert beaucoup trop court donc, juste le temps de se rappeler à quel point c’est bien en live, et de rester sur sa faim. Tout en ayant un flot de chouettes souvenirs qui se rappellent subitement. Toutes ces années avec leurs chansons en fond sonore. Et notamment celles de l’album Cut out & Keep qui reste mon préféré.

Détailler le concert n’intéressera que peu de monde, alors je préfère glisser une de leurs chansons qui m’avait beaucoup marquée jadis, pour le refrain.
